About
The Matthew J. Tomkiewicz Scholarship will provide annual scholarships for students enrolled in the University’s Professional Flight Program in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. The primary purpose of the scholarship is to assist in defraying the additional expenses students experience during portions of the program where fees are highest.
Matthew Tomkiewicz graduated with a degree in Professional Aviation from the Purdue Polytechnic Institute in 2016. While at Purdue, Matt was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and joined the Marine Corps in 2015 through the PLC undergraduate commissioning program. To say he loved Purdue would be a vast understatement.
Why
As a family, we could not think of a better way to honor Matt than to combine his passion for aviation with his love for Purdue University. We know he would be thrilled his name is forever attached to Purdue, and that his legacy is helping to create future Boilermaker aviators.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. After you donate, you will receive an email receipt from the Purdue for Life Foundation

Where is my donation going?
Your donation is going directly into the Matthew J. Tomkiewicz Scholarship Endowment fund. Your donation will then be awarded via a scholarship to applicable student(s).

I prefer to mail a check to donate. Can I do that/is that tax-deductible?
Yes. In order to do that you will have to download this form here. Once you download this form and fill out, please mail the form and your payment to: Purdue Foundation, Gift Processing, P.O. Box 772401, Detroit, MI, 48277-2401 (Directions are listed on form too). Once that is received, you will receive a standard paper receipt in the mail in return.
